Foot washing is a means to express filial piety to our parents and elders. It embodies important values such as humility, respect, love and gratitude.T his activity also enhances the bond and understanding between parents, elders, and children while promoting a harmonious, caring and virtuous society.

以谦卑、尊重、慈爱与感恩的心为父母或长者浴足可展现孝悌美德。这活动也能增进亲子与长者间的了解并切提倡和乐、关爱与贤德的社会。



Sutra Writing

Writing the Heart Sutra can help us focus our minds, nurture our character, and develop wisdom. It is one of the most important Mahayana Buddhist scriptures, a condensed version of the Prajnaparamita Sutra’s “The Heart of the Perfection of Wisdom”. Find peace in sutra writing as you familiarise, contemplate and internalise the profound teachings.

心经抄写可以帮助我们集中精神，培养我们的品格，并打开我们的智慧。《心经》是从《大般若经》浓缩而成的经文，是大乘佛教里重要的经典之一。藉由抄写的方式，认识、深思、内化《心经》深度的教诲，然后找到心中的平静。

A Sketch in Art

The art of sketching is a creative path to awareness. Artist illustrations will also be up for sale to raise funds for the Dharma School.

艺术中的画是正念的创意之路。现场也将会售卖艺术素描以为本寺的少儿佛学班筹款。

现场艺术素描示范：早上10时 – 下午3时

素描画家：杨怀勤老师是位佛教艺术家、广告设计师兼艺术教育家。自2004年开始，杨老师成为了一名佛教徒，为许多佛教组织效力，也希望透过绘画来提倡众人对佛教的了解与兴趣。
